    If you want to fish, you need a fishing license. This is issued by the local authority on application, provided that you have passed a state fishing examination or there are circumstances that make it unnecessary to take the fishing examination (see fishing examination).

    For fishing, you also need a fishing permit from the fishing licensee or fishing leaseholder of the respective water body.

    • Certificate of a passed state fishing examination or proof of an examination as a professional fisherman
    • Passport photo
    • Identification document

    The following costs are incurred for a fishing license at the Göllheim municipal administration:

    • for adults EUR 55.00 (valid for five years)
    • for young people EUR 7.60 (valid for one year)
