Marked trails lead through forests, meadows and vineyards, past rivers and ponds up to the Donnersberg. A special hiking highlight is the Palatinate High Trail from Winnweiler to Wolfstein with a length of about 110 km and spectacular views of the magnificent landscape.
History comes alive in the Donnersbergkreis. The region invites you to take a walk through the eras. Beginning with the Celts and Romans, who left their traces here, through the Middle Ages with its magnificent castle and monastery ruins to the time of the miners.
