The keeping of a dog must be deregistered if:
- the dog has died.
- You have given the dog to someone else.
- You have given the dog to an animal shelter.
- the dog has escaped and you assume that it will not come back.The deregistration as well as the return of the dog tax tag takes place at the responsible office.
