Service description
The preservation of historical monuments is subdivided, among other things, into the preservation of historical buildings. This deals with the preservation and sustainable handling of our built environment, insofar as this involves cultural monuments.
These can be, for example:
- Architectural monuments,
- Monument areas,
- archaeological cultural monuments,
- archaeological area monuments,
- movable cultural monuments
- Small monuments.
If you intend to carry out conversion work on your building monument, or if a building monument must be removed for compelling reasons, please contact the office responsible for you in good time.
Special notes for - Donnersbergkreis districtIn the case of cultural monuments, a distinction is made between immovable cultural monuments (1. stationary individual monuments and structures, 2. monument zones) and movable cultural monuments (1. movable individual objects, 2. collections and other assemblages of individual objects).
Changes to a cultural monument require approval under monument law, which is granted by the Lower Monument Protection Authority. Repairs must be reported to the lower monument protection authority.
