    The building supervisory authority may check compliance with public law regulations and requirements as well as the proper fulfillment of the obligations of the parties involved in the construction.

    Also in order to enable the building supervisory authority to supervise construction, the execution of projects requiring a permit, including excavation of the building pit, among other things, may not be started until the building owner has notified the building supervisory authority in writing of the start of construction at least one week in advance; this also applies to the resumption of construction work after an interruption of more than three months.

    Whether and to what extent an inspection of the building condition is carried out is at the discretion of the building supervisory authority. A certificate of the result of the inspection shall be issued upon request of the building owner.

  • What are the fees?

    The costs of construction supervision not covered by the building permit fee, in particular for the sampling and testing of construction products and types of construction as well as for the involvement of expert persons and bodies, shall be borne by the building owner.
