Special notes for - Donnersbergkreis district

There are no "door-to-door" bulky waste collections in the Donnersberg district; the bulky items are disposed of "on call". This service is free of charge for the citizens.

Private households can register the collection of bulky goods 2 x per year with the district administration or alternatively deliver the bulky waste free of charge to the district landfill Eisenberg itself. It is also possible to have the bulky waste collected 1x per year and to deliver it 1x per year.

If you choose the pick-up variant, please note the following:

    • You can register directly here using our online form. You are also welcome to use our registration form and send it to us by post or fax or call us (see responsible staff).
    • The exact collection point must be specified.
    • Collection takes place within a period of approx. 6 weeks after registration. You will receive a written notification of the collection date from Remondis.
    • Wood, metal and residual bulky waste must be put out separately for collection, please do not mix everything up.
    • The quantity limit of 4 m³ in total must be observed.
    • Individual parts must not be longer/wider than 1.70 m and heavier than 50 kg (exception: mattresses and white goods). Please disassemble large furniture.
    • Bulky waste must be ready by 6 a.m. at the latest.

If you have any questions about the collection date, please contact Remondis at 06244 / 91976917.

    2. variant: deliver bulky waste yourself

Alternatively, bulky waste can also be taken to the Eisenberg district waste disposal site twice a year free of charge.

The current opening hours of the Eisenberg district landfill can be found under Landfill.

At the time of delivery it should be noted that the identity card must be presented because of the registration.

If large and heavy items are brought, a second person should be present to sort bulky waste items into the appropriate containers. Only disassembled pieces of furniture will be accepted.

Pre-sorting into wood, metal, electrical and residual bulky waste is therefore advisable. The premises should be vacated by the end of opening hours.

3rd variant express bulky waste collection

If you opt for the express bulky waste collection option, please note the following:

The additional charge for express bulky waste collection is €191.11 / process.

You will receive a separate notification of charges. The application for collection of express bulky waste must be signed by the applicant and the owner/landlord. Once the signed application has been received, the bulky waste will be collected within 3 working days.

You can find the form under Waste Management: Applications/Forms.

Please note that only the homeowner, or by presenting a power of attorney, can order the express bulky waste collection.
