Regional planning procedure and simplified regional planning review
Service description
Spatial planning procedures and simplified spatial planning reviews are instruments for ensuring spatial planning. They serve to examine the spatial compatibility of a project. The spatial planning procedure is used to determine whether plans and measures with spatial impact are in line with the requirements of spatial planning before they are approved. In addition, it is examined how these plans and measures can be coordinated or implemented.
Simplified spatial planning reviews can be carried out for plans and measures that are spatially significant but for which it is not necessary to carry out a comprehensive spatial planning procedure. On the one hand, this ensures a spatial planning review, and on the other hand, the scope of the investigations can be limited to what is necessary. An essential feature is above all the shorter duration of the procedure (3 months).
