Housing promotion

    The Act Amending the Basic Law of September 1, 2006 ("Federalism Reform") transferred social housing promotion to the exclusive legislative competence of the federal states. Insofar as the Federal Housing Promotion Act (WoFG) is not replaced by regulations under state law, it remains valid.

    In Rhineland-Palatinate, the State Housing Promotion Act (Landeswohnraumförderungsgesetz - LWoFg) of 22.11.2013 is now in force.
