    Anliegerbescheinigungen are declarations by the city or municipality about a possible obligation to pay contributions for development or expansion services and about the location of a property on a public road. If you want to purchase a plot of land, a residents' certificate will give you greater financial planning security.

    The following levies or contributions are eligible:
    • Development contributions (§§ 124 ff. BauGB), road expansion contributions
    • Water and wastewater supply contributions

    • Reallocation compensation (§ 64 BauGB)
    • Compensatory contributions (§§ 154 f BauGB) in urban redevelopment areas
    • Compensatory amounts under soil protection law for properties that have been cleared of contaminated sites (§ 25 BBodSchG)
    • Sealing levies
    • Forest Conservation Dues

  • What documents are needed?

    • informal application with the address of the builder and the address of the land plot to be built on
    • Proof of ownership of the land plot (copy of the land register registration)
    • Preliminary building application (copy, if available)
    • Excerpt from cadastral map (copy)
  • What are the fees?

    The issuance of resident certificates is subject to a fee. The fees vary from region to region.
