Receive information about renting an allotment garden
Service description
An allotment garden is a garden that you use for non-profitable, horticultural use, in particular for the production of horticultural products for your own use, and for recreation. An allotment garden is located in a complex in which several individual gardens are grouped together with communal facilities, for example paths, play areas and clubhouses. Excluded from this are owner's gardens, employee's gardens, residential gardens or grave land.
For the lease of an allotment garden the regulations of the civil code apply. These regulate that you as a tenant can manage the garden and keep the yields. For this you pay an agreed rent to the lessor. Within the allotment garden site, an association statute of the managing allotment garden organization or the allotment garden association regulates, among other things, the rights and duties of the members.
Further information can be found on the website of the Landesverband Rheinland-Pfalz der Kleingärtner e.V.
