Apply for entry in the register of associations

  • Service description

When you found an association, it does not have legal capacity unless it is entered in the register of associations. This means that it cannot yet be the bearer of rights and obligations itself. This has consequences for the persons acting on behalf of the association. If the association is not entered in the register of associations, you are liable, for example, as chairman or chairwoman in transactions for the association with your private assets. The association only becomes legally capable when you have it entered in the register of associations. Then only the association is liable for debts with its assets.
