Report channel fault

  • Service description

Before reporting a clog, you should make sure that it is not located on private property. The property owner is responsible for—and required to maintain—the pipes on the property up to the main sewer line. If an inspection chamber is present, you can check whether wastewater is still draining properly from the property, indicating that the blockage must be in the municipal sewer system. If an inspection chamber is present, it is usually located on the property or inside the building as an access chamber (for example, in the basement or utility room). It should be accessible at all times.

Precise information on the location of the blockage will facilitate its removal. The following information is important when reporting:

    • Name, address and callback number of the reporting party,
    • Details of the location of the blockage (street, house number),
    • if possible, describe more detailed location.
  • Legal basis

Drainage statutes of the respective municipality.
